Application for entry on Québec’s permanent list of electors

Application for entry on Québec’s permanent list of electors

To vote in provincial, municipal or school elections in Québec, your name must be entered on the list of electors at your domiciliary address. Although we update the permanent list of electors on an ongoing basis, you remain responsible for ensuring your information is accurate.

Before you start

  1. The address you provide must be your domiciliary address—i.e., the one corresponding to the place where you principally or habitually reside, in a stable manner. Accordingly, you cannot use a post office box, the address of a third party (correspondence address) or a business address.
  2. You need to provide two pieces of identification. You can scan and upload these identity documents from your computer or take a picture of them with your mobile device.
  3. Take the time to learn about how we collect your personal information.
